Project-X

Welcome to the home page of my as of yet un-named comic!

Temporary title. Someone suggest a better one!

Note:  Pardon our dust.  This site is still under construction.

No, folks, it's not your imagination.  You really are looking at one of Tripod's site builder templates.  I have to admit, I am kind of embarrassed about it.  However, as a college student, I really do not have as much free time as I'd like to learn more HTML and make a real website.  I'd much rather dedicate what free time I do have to making the comics.  This site is little more than a means to view them.  Hey, at least I used a template with K-State purple.

As for the comic itself, it is just my way of poking fun at some of the experiences I have had or have seen on campus during my three plus years here at Kansas State University.

Latest News!
(See Updates page for update archive.)

21 January 2004:  Wow, it sure has been a while since I last updated.  It was just that rough a semester; I didn't take much time to make new comics.  I'm trying to start this one off on the right foot with two new strips.  To understand these, you have to be familiar with the Flash cartoon Eskimo Bob, as well as Babylon 5 and Stargate SG-1.

3 November, supplemental:  The fourth episode of the second season is up.  Two new comics in one day.  Don't expect that very often, folks.  Actually, I think only a few people will actually understand this one, but oh well.

3 November 2003:  I added a new comic today.  Kind of old news by now, but what they hey.  I also added a Latest page that you can go right to and see the most recent strip.

Background

Recently, after spending some time reading a comic on the internet (a.k.a. "webcomic") about a chat room, my roommate thought it would be a good idea if someone made an online comic about college life.  He pointed out that some of the stuff that goes on on campus is just asking to be made fun of.

I siezed upon this idea.  I have next to no artistic ability what-so-ever, but I am pretty good at cutting and pasting simple lines and shapes in M.S. Paint, the most powerful computer drawing tool I have.  I use this as a way to relieve stress.  Okay, it doesn't really work, but it's still fun.

As you may have noticed, it doesn't even have a name or title yet.  "Project X" is simply the name of the directory where my drawing files are saved on my computer.  You may suggest a real title by contacting me.  See the instructions on the Contact page as to how to do so.

If you want to see what influenced my drawing style (a.k.a. where I shamelessly ripped it off from, and rather poorly I might add), visit the link below.
